Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Tweedhill when you use our digital cooking-coaching service.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and TWEEDHILL LIMITED (“Tweedhill”). By creating an account, subscribing or using the Studio, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Tweedhill provides

Tweedhill is an online-only digital subscription that generates seafood cooking guidance — method, timings, doneness cues, plating and pairing visuals, technique reels and exportable Recipe Cards — from the briefs you provide. Tweedhill does not sell, ship, supply or broker seafood, groceries or any food, and provides no in-person services.

3. Eligibility and age

  • You must be at least 13 to use Tweedhill. Under-13s may not use the service.
  • Users aged 13–17 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
  • Any alcohol-related pairing information is for adults 18 and over only; mocktail and non-alcoholic options are offered first.

4. Cooking guidance is not professional advice

Coaching content is provided for general information and home-cooking purposes. It is not professional food-safety, medical, dietary or nutrition advice, and results are not guaranteed. AI-generated content can contain errors — you are responsible for checking it. See the AI Disclaimer.

5. Food safety and allergies

  • Fish and shellfish are major allergens. You are responsible for checking every ingredient against your own and your guests’ allergies and dietary needs.
  • Raw and lightly cooked seafood (for example sushi, ceviche, raw oysters) carries parasite and bacterial risk. Follow your local food-safety authority’s freezing and heating guidance.
  • Pregnant people and those who are very young, older or immunocompromised face higher risk and should take extra care.
  • Safe handling, correct cooking temperatures, portioning and allergen management are your responsibility.

6. Subscriptions, billing and allowances

  • Paid plans are billed in advance in USD by Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Each plan includes a monthly dish allowance that resets each billing period and does not roll over. There are no purchasable credits and no stored balance.
  • You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use Tweedhill lawfully and as described in our Acceptable Use Policy, including its restriction on foraging and wild-shellfish harvesting guidance.

8. Intellectual property and your content

Tweedhill and its underlying content are owned by us or our licensors. Rights in what you upload and what is generated for you are set out in the Content License.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but may modify, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tweedhill is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from your reliance on cooking guidance, including food-safety, allergen or health outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom, and disputes are subject to the courts of Scotland, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
