1. Who is responsible for your data
TWEEDHILL LIMITED (“Tweedhill”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We operate the digital cooking-coaching service at tweedhilluk.shop. You can reach us at:
- Post: 8 St Ann's Place Haddington, EH41 4BS, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Email: support@tweedhilluk.shop
- Phone: +44 7426134560
2. What we collect
- Contact information and account data: name, email address, phone number if provided, and account identifiers when you subscribe or contact us.
- Studio inputs: the briefs you type (species, equipment, time, dietary needs, allergies) and any food photos you choose to upload for coaching.
- Generated results: the coached plans, visual packs, reels and Recipe Cards produced for you.
- Subscription and billing data: plan, billing status, and the payment metadata our payment processor returns. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Support data: the messages, topics and details you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and limited usage/diagnostic data needed to run and secure the service.
3. Collection sources and where the data comes from
Most data comes directly from you (forms, the Studio, support messages). Technical data is collected automatically when you use the site. Billing status comes from our payment processor (Stripe).
This is an online-only digital AI service with no physical goods, seafood, groceries, shipping or catering services. Your user input, uploaded food photos and generated output are processed only to operate the cooking studio, provide support and maintain subscription records.
4. Why we use it, and our legal bases
- To provide the coaching service — generate plans, visuals, reels and Recipe Cards from your inputs. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To take payment and manage subscriptions. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To provide support and respond to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests / contract.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Optional analytics/marketing only where you consent. Legal basis: consent.
5. AI inputs, outputs and your files
- Your Studio briefs and any uploaded food photos are processed only to generate your coaching results and to operate and secure the service.
- Where an AI provider is enabled, the minimum necessary user input may be sent to that AI provider solely to create your requested cooking output.
- Uploaded photos and example data are cached to generate results and are cleared by default within 30 days; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
- We do not use your inputs, uploads or generated results to train AI models.
- Generated results are cooking suggestions and may contain errors — see the AI Disclaimer.
6. The payment provider boundary
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are handled by Stripe as an independent controller/processor under its own terms. Tweedhill never receives or stores your full card number, CVC or full card expiry. We receive only the limited billing metadata needed to manage your subscription (for example, plan, status, and a masked card reference).
7. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run Tweedhill, each bound by contract and permitted to use the data only for our purposes:
- Hosting and delivery: our cloud hosting and content-delivery provider.
- Payments: Stripe, for checkout, subscriptions and billing.
- Email: our transactional email provider, to send receipts and support replies.
- Database and storage: our managed database/storage provider, for account, lead and support records.
- AI processing: the model provider used to generate coaching results, processing your inputs solely to return your results.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
8. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. How long we keep it
- Account and subscription records: for the life of your account and as required for tax/accounting (typically up to 6 years after your last transaction).
- Uploaded photos and example data: cleared by default within 30 days.
- Support messages: up to 24 months.
- Analytics data (if enabled): retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. Provider keys are stored in server-side environment configuration, never in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of any breach as required.
11. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Under the California CCPA you can request to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing”.
Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email support@tweedhilluk.shop; we respond within the timeframes the law requires.
12. Automated decisions and children
The Studio generates content automatically but does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. Tweedhill is not directed at children under 13, who may not use it; users aged 13–17 need verifiable parental or guardian consent. Any alcohol-related pairing information is presented for adults 18 and over only.
13. Complaints and contact
Contact us first at support@tweedhilluk.shop. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority; in California, you may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency.
